Promani Weddings delivers both. It is a high-touch, full-production experience with custom timeline planning, meetings and tailored artistry. It is incredible, but it requires a more significant investment. Format Weddings utilizes the same team, delivers the Talent, but streamlines the Service.
We realized that many couples are happy to trade the "luxuries"—the coffee meetings, the custom phone calls, and the complex planning—in exchange for a lighter price point, as long as the photos are still amazing.

Q: Do you do engagement sessions? A: Yes! However, we do things a little differently than most studios. To keep our wedding package prices as low as possible, we don't bundle engagement sessions into the base price (since many couples don't need them). You can add a 1-hour engagement session to any package for $350. This allows you to pay only for exactly what you need. You can add your engagement session when filling out your booking file!
Q: We prefer more candid, natural posing. Is that something your team excels at? A: Absolutely. That is the core of the Format style. We believe your wedding photos should look like you, not a production set. Our photographers are trained to take a documentary approach—capturing real laughs, tears, and reactions as they happen. We step in to organize family portraits and keep things moving, but we avoid stiff, awkward posing.
Q: How do we know the style of photos we’re getting? A: Consistency is our promise. While we work with a roster of talented lead photographers, every single image is edited in-house by the Format team using our signature "Bright & Clean" profile. This means no matter who shoots your wedding, your final gallery will look consistent with the portfolio you see on our website—timeless, true-to-color, and sharp.
Q: Do you have a backup plan if our photographer has an emergency the day before? A: Yes, and this is the biggest advantage of hiring a team like Format instead of a solo freelancer. Because we operate as a collective, we have a network of vetted associate photographers on standby. In the unlikely event of an illness or emergency, we have the resources to ensure a qualified professional is there to cover your day, guaranteed.
